A Class B CDL is the license for local, home-every-night driving — straight trucks, buses, dump trucks, delivery and service vehicles. TNT has trained Utah drivers for it since 2004, with your skills test taken on site rather than at the DMV.

From today to licensed
Two paces, the same four steps. Accelerated runs about two weeks full time. Standard runs about four weeks if you are working or have other obligations.

How you will pay for it
Most of our students do not pay the full cost out of pocket. There are three routes, and working out which one fits you is the first thing we do together.
Utah Workforce Services (DWS)
If you qualify, DWS may fund your training. How much they cover depends on your situation and their determination — we handle the paperwork and help you find out.
Financing and payment plans
We work with student-financing partners and can set up a monthly plan for qualified applicants.

Common questions
Class B or Class A — which do I need?
Class B covers straight trucks, buses, dump trucks and most local driving. Class A adds tractor-trailers and long-haul work. Not sure? Tell us the job you want and we will point you to the right one.
What do I need to enroll?
A valid driver’s license, DOT medical certificate, and proof of identity. You must be at least 18, able to read and speak English at a working level, and pass a drug screen. We help you through every step, including the medical exam.
Do I need my DOT medical card before I start?
No — most students do not have one yet. We will point you to a certified examiner and walk you through it.
When can I start?
Rolling enrollment, with new starts most weeks. Call and we will slot you in.
Do I test at the DMV?
No. We are a third-party testing site — you test where you train, in the same truck.
